When track superstar Marion Jones acknowledged that she had taken steroids, she was stripped of her Olympic gold medals and required to pay back the money she had earned. Now we find that at least nine members of the 2000 World Series Champion New York Yankees (including Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Chuck Knoblauch, David Justice and Mike Stanton) were named in the Mitchell Report as having taken steroids. If this proves to be true, shouldn’t they be required to return their World Series rings as well as all the bonuses they earned, including the money earned by team owner George Steinbrenner?
